In my experiential lab courses, we explore a blend of sound and somatic therapies, each bringing balance to a different aspect or layer of your being. The Serenity Lab is designed to hone your fluency in relaxation, just like a language, so that your body and mind can relax and restore themselves fully and at will. Imagine how much better you’ll feel and function each day when you are well rested and can decide your own experience rather than getting swept up by circumstances!

I call these courses labs because the focus is on experience and playful exploration. This is a space for observation without judgement, where you can get to know yourself in ways you may never have expected.

What originally began as one course eventually split into the Serenity Lab and the Flow Lab to allow for deeper examination of profound relaxation in Serenity and heightened connection in Flow. They are designed to be accessible and adaptable so that you can come as you are and develop functional skills to suit your needs. The labs are synergistic to each other, can be taken in any order, and are highly repeatable modules.

The program runs for 6 weeks per session with a tapered schedule to help you incorporate new learnings and material into your daily life in a sustainable way.

Our toolbox of skills and knowledge may include sound therapy, dance, taiji quan (tai chi), qigong, Chinese medicine philosophy, bodywork therapies, and current scholarly research.

During each weekly session, we’ll examine a different tool that you can integrate into your daily life. We’re looking for functional and sustainable, tailored to your individual lifestyle. Through visceral learning and meta-skills gained through this course, you’ll practice stepping into your own personal serenity sanctuary so that you can find and feel peace, whenever you choose, regardless of external circumstances.

Topics may include and are not limited to:

  • Leveraging the natural functions of your physical brain to calm your mind - work with your body, not against it

  • Tuning your body as a receiving vessel or antenna

  • Honoring your body as your ultimate relaxation instrument

  • Stepping into the power of choice: relaxing when and how you want!

Though the course is built on foundational pillars of material, no two course sessions are identical. Each person who participates brings their own special energy and set of skills and experiences, so organic development and evolution is welcomed and encouraged. Each journey is distinct and the course is highly repeatable.

This course can be done as either a private 1:1 experience or as small pods of two to four participants per 6-week course session. Sessions begin on a rolling basis as previous sessions conclude and new pods are formed.
